Jack van Beers

Jack has worked at Holla as a public sector specialist since 2015. He acts for businesses and governments in the cross-over area between public and private law. Jack specialises in public procurement, subsidies, government liability, state aid, asbestos, and the Freedom of Information Act (Wob).

Jack advises, litigates, and publishes regularly in the field of public procurement. Examples are the purchase of IT, hard and software, multifunctionals and printers, furniture, waste collection and disposal, gas, heating (pumps), transportation, temporary staff, and purchases in the social domain. He has a special interest for defining, implementing, and explaining tender conditions, in particular suitability assessments and award criteria that are often the subject of debate. Jack has a talent for numbers, which gives him an advantage when analysing award methods.

Jack grew up in an entrepreneurial family and has an active public life. His work enriches him and gives him energy, which he benefits from in his private life and while carrying out his secondary activities. Jack is known for his pleasant and personal approach. Besides that, Jack has an open mind and is a good sparring partner, a passionate and energetic lawyer who strives to obtain the best possible result for his clients.

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training points in each registered main legal area every calendar year, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
