Operational excellence
CO₂-neutral and ISO-certified
With these certifications, Holla ensures the optimal flow of business processes, high execution quality, and maximum results. For our office itself, but especially for our clients.
CO₂ Neutral and ISO Certified
Our office operates in a CO₂ neutral and ISO certified manner. With these standards, we anchor the optimal flow of our business processes, high execution quality, and maximum results. Not only for our office but especially for our clients.
CO₂ Neutral
Research firm Groenbalans has assisted us in becoming and remaining CO₂ neutral. Groenbalans supports organizations on their journey towards sustainable and future-proof business practices. They do this, among other methods, through the international measurement methodology Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol. This methodology assesses three scopes:
- Direct CO₂ emissions, caused by own sources within the organization;
- Indirect emissions of CO₂, resulting from the generation of electricity or heat purchased and consumed;
- Indirect emissions of CO₂, caused by the business activities of another organization.
ISO 9001 and 14001 Certified
In 2016, we obtained ISO 9001 and 14001 certification, which is valid for 3 years. Afterward, as an organization, you must demonstrate again that you still meet all the specified quality and environmental requirements. In 2019 and subsequently in 2022, auditors from Lloyd’s Register conducted extensive checks on our ISO recertifications. Both audits showed that we scored very well and therefore still meet the requirements of both certifications. Naturally, we are very pleased with these recertifications, particularly because Holla legal & tax is one of the few law firms that hold both certificates.
What do the ISO standards entail?
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. According to this standard, the quality policy must be documented, known to the employees, and adhered to. The organization must ensure the increase of customer satisfaction by meeting the requirements and wishes of the customers and complying with the legal requirements applicable to the organization's product or service. Additionally, the organization must control the business processes and be able to demonstrate this.
ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that indicates what a good environmental management system should meet. With such a system according to the ISO 14001 standard, the environmental risks of the business operations can be controlled and, if possible, reduced.
Both ISO 9001 and 14001 comply with the 2015 standard.
